NOTE TO CAPITAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTORS: Remember, this is a three-year campaign. We need your commitment over three years. So please make a note detailing your plan over the three years of the campaign under "Donor Comments" .
In June 2006, the board of Trustees approved a strategic long-range plan that provides our "Foundation for the Future". The strategic plan is realistic and ambitious with qualitative improvement throughout the University as its goal.
To insure Lambuth's place among the South's best colleges and universities. Here are the campaign objectives that will enable Lambuth to achieve its vision and establish a strong foundation for the future. Pay Off Short Term Debt - $4.5 million
Renovations - $3.1 million
Operational Support - $4.5 million
Faculty/Staff Salaries - $900 thousand
Scholarships - $6 million
Endowment - $1 million Campaign Goal - $20 million by June 30, 2009
Lambuth Loyalty and Annual Fund » Donate Online
The Lambuth Loyalty Fund lies in the heart of the Lambuth experience.The Loyalty Fund allows alumni, friends, parents, churches, corporations and foundations to make an annual contribution to the University and the dreams of a student come true. The Loyalty Fund provides both scholarship and financial aid support to the students. The University provides over $3.8 million in scholarships to over 92% of the student body. The need for more scholarship assistance grows every year. A gift to the Loyalty Fund touches the lives of Lambuth's students and provides them with their access to excellence. The 1843 Society includes special contributors to the Lambuth Loyalty Fund. Once a member of the 1843 Society, you will always be a member. Membership is permanent. Being in the 1843 Society entitles you to invitations to special events and activities. You can earn special recognition by becoming a Sustaining Member of the 1843 Society, when you qualify each year.
Qualifications for the 1843 Society * Must qualify in one Academic Year (July 1st through June 30th).
* Personally make a donation to the Lambuth Loyalty Fund.
* Obtain at least 10 "NEW" (have not donated to Lambuth in the last 5 years) alumni donors to the Lambuth Loyalty Fund in the respective academic year. (See NOTE below.)
* With personal donation and 10 new donors -- gifts must equal a total sum of $500.
NOTE:
If you would like a list of alumni names from your class or area that have not donate dint he last 5 years, please contact Candy Donald in the Lambuth Development Office at 731-425-3398. A list of alumni will be to you within a week, along with pledge cards and business reply envelopes.
The Lambuth Legacy Society is a very special group of alumni and friends who have provided for the University in their estate plans through wills, trusts or life insurance. These gifts help to ensure that future generations of Lambuth students will receive an outstanding liberal arts and Christian-centered education. Lambuth Legacy Society members are recognized by the University on a membership roll and are invited to attend special events, luncheons, and receptions.
Lambda-Eta Sigma Society » Donate Online
The Lambda-Eta Sigma Society is a very special group of alumni and friends who have provided for Lambuth through a planned gift. This leadership endowment society recognizes an individual or individuals that have donated money to a planned gift or have endowed a scholarship with the University. These gifts help to ensure that future generations of Lambuth students will receive an outstanding liberal arts and Christian-centered education. The Lambda-Eta Legacy Society members are recognized by the University on a membership roll and are invited to attend special events, luncheons, and receptions.
An endowed scholarship generates earnings year after year, ensuring that the on-going financial support of the scholarship will be sustained at Lambuth University. Endowed funds pay an everlasting and meaningful tribute to their namesakes. Many alumni and friends have contributed funds created in memory of professors that have touched their lives.
